What does the free version include?+
The free version includes all of the basic content: grammar, kanji, vocabulary, and the hiragana and katakana charts. It's fully functional and ad-free — great for trying the app and starting to learn Japanese from scratch.
Do I need an internet connection to use JP Michi?+
Only for the initial purchase activation. After that, everything works completely offline. Your progress is saved locally on your device, no accounts or servers involved.
Is this for beginners or advanced learners?+
Both. Content is organized by JLPT level from N5 (beginner) to N1 (near-native), plus complete hiragana and katakana guides for absolute beginners.
Is this a subscription?+
No. You pay once and own it forever. You also get all future content updates at no extra cost.

Yes — purchasing the full version unlocks every level while keeping your progress from the free version.
How is this different from other apps?+
