Do I need an internet connection to use JP Michi?+
Only for the initial license key activation. After that, everything works completely offline. Your progress is saved locally on your device.
Is this for beginners or advanced learners?+
Both. Content is organized by JLPT level from N5 (beginner) to N1 (near-native), plus complete hiragana and katakana guides for absolute beginners.
Is this a subscription?+
No. You pay once and own it forever. You also get all future content updates at no extra cost.
What platforms does it run on?+
JP Michi is only available for Windows and Android at the moment
How is this different from other apps?+
For comparison, other tools just focus on a single aspect of the language, such as kanji or forming basic sentences. JP Michi is a complete JLPT study library. It's meant to be used as a study tool—there are thousands of grammar lessons for each proficiency level, all the kanji you should know at each point, along with vocabulary words, example conversations, flashcards, and quizzes—everything organized by level. There is no gamification and no subscriptions; Buy it once and you study at your own pace.
